Really enjoyed reading this post. You've written a top-notch piece and I'll be sure to follow you. I've been think about this for a while and might write about this topic in the future. I agree that there is a great danger of humans behaving in a robotic fashion. However, I would also add that AI is arguably only the latest phenomenon weakening social cohesion. In fact, I would argue we have created a society where people do not really talk to each other or feel much of a bond with others in their local area. Amongst the causes of this disconnect is the very way we build our cities: vast sprawling suburbs where everyone is locked away in their own castle. I do realise not everyone lives in an area that lacks a sense of real community but I think this is most certainly the case for most major cities in the world. What can we do to alleviate this problem?
