Testing out my new vertical palette
Using an old discarded office chair I removed the seat and got my son to weld two hinges to the metal base. A glass shelf that came from a refrigerator was sprayed grey and attached to a panel of wood cut to the same size. Mounted onto the hinges the palette can be adjusted to any angle.
Having my palette at the same angle as the canvas has been a big improvement due to the fact that it is closer to the work been done and I no longer have to stretch to mix paint on my old glass palette as seen bottom left.
