So in the spirit of sharing, my story begins here;
After a long 10 year career, long hours and constant travelling….working to reach the pinnacle, the elusive top, within the Finance Industry, as a female executive within an alpha male industry, you had to work harder than most, longer hours…. in order to make way………..and then, I gave it all away.
In 2009 I made the decision to change direction. Midst GFC, most called me mad!
Back then I wasn’t a confident artist and all I knew is that I had a dream.
Everything that could go wrong did!
Despite it all, I continued to paint and discovered the most valuable possession that money cannot buy.
These are my stories, as seen through my artworks.
The land I walked on became part of me!
The people that I met along the way became my teachers!
