There is something soothing about having the window open and listening to the rain. But, I suppose it can get a bit much after two straight days.
It's funny that when we're younger, we love to draw on colored paper. (Mine hated using anything but.) But as we go through schooling, it becomes something used for cutouts and crafts instead of drawing.
Her thoughtful expression as she looks outside is lovely. From the angle, the leaves around the window frame her hair and look as though they are touching her. You've me wondering how long she stood there, simply watching the world outside. 😊

i also like listening to the rain but yeah, it does let the dampness in also if the rain doesnt let up for two days... hahaha~
and so true about coloured paper ! i have completely forgotten about them until recently when a friend posted her drawings on dark paper :)
