It is good to see the unity growing, but at the end of the day, what's to stop another half dozen haejins popping up. There seems to be something essentially wrong at the heart of steemit. It does not live up to the hype and is apparently just mirroring real life. I am standing on the side of people power but as it is yet another private company, I wonder if we can really effect permanent change?

The blockchain is still in its birthing phase, don't lose hope this early in. We are shaping this world, all of us together. The reason why so many are standing against The Cave Troll, is exactly because of the reason you stated. If we go easy on him, there's more chances of other scammers flooding in to make a quick million. If we make it hard for him, it won't look like such an easy scam to the other potential HJ's.
