So, here it is - negative space homework.
I do 2-4 hours of live drawing every week,so in a way it was a familiar exercise. However, I haven't focused on silhouettes for a while and I think I'll start doing it again when we resume sessions after holidays. :-)
Medium: black pencil on paper, correction fluid (got rid of couple of wrong lines on the figure poses)
Heya @bonaramis great start! I really enjoy the expressiveness of the linework!
You seem to be quite confident in your linework! Which is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.
Let me iterate on that :D
The good thing about it is that it shows confidence, using a strong fluent confident line in drawings and paintings can give a really nice touch can really strengthen a drawing/pose of a figure.
The bad thing is that because of it you are less accurate. You miss small nuances and details changing in the shape that are in front of you.
You could try during negative space exercises to focus on getting the lines and details exactly right.
Doing that it will help you find the proportions in poses/objects easier in relation to its surroundings.
I hope this helps! Great start, I'd love to see more!
Especially on the posemaniac figures, but try to even lineout the fingers if you need to :)
Merry Xmas!
Thanks for the feedback @beekart! Merry Christmas to you too!
