Greetings Steemit Family!
Here’s my entry for “ Artstorm Contest # 85 Day 2 - 'Favourite Things to Do' Week - Theme Today - In the Park.”
I drew a portrait of myself today, lying down on a patch of soft green grass, amongst some tall oak trees. What a beautiful, perfect, cozy spot, to take a little nap. I actually am creating this picture in my mind, and I’m actually at home lying on my couch. As I close my eyes to relax, I imagine glorious sunbeams coming down between the trees that touch my face and body, and I am warmed by them. I hear leaves gently blowing in the cool breeze, and the sound of a babbling brook, that is flowing near by. I can smell sweet fragrant flowers, I believe they are honeysuckles. All my senses come alive, Isn’t nature amazing, I love this park! Soon I’ll be drifting off to sleep... but please don’t wake me, because this place feels like heaven, and I don’t want to leave❣️

I love the tranquility and peace of your artwork! The sunlight is just perfect. @laputis and I are just about to go for a walk in the woods and I want to lie down like in your drawing.

We had a nice walk but it was too wet to lye down, haha! Walked over 10000 steps today...

Oh it did smell great and we got to remove many snails from the path to save them. They like to start a walk along the path after rain too, haha!
