Hello Steemit Friends!

Here’s my entry for today’s “Artstorm Contest # 85 Day 4 - 'Favourite Things to Do' Week - Theme Today - In the Bus.” 🚌

I believe that the last time I rode on a bus, was a school bus. My daughter, her classmates, and myself, went on a long field trip to a rock quarry, located here in Iowa. We where able to hunt for fossils buried in red clay, that was still moist in ares. My daughter and I took some of the moist clay home in a plastic sandwich bag, (we had taken sack lunches to eat there), and made tiny clay pots out of it. One of the best parts of the trip, was the bus ride, to and from, the rock quarry. I giggled and watched as all the children where full of joy, wonder, and excitement, especially as they looked at the ancient fossils they had all collected. What an amazing fun day it was!
