Weren't you surprised by the wave of posts from @steemitblog during the recent days? I was.
Not that they aren't trying to communicate more than in the past, but wow, 3 posts in the last 24 hours and no less than 8 in the last 4 days. Wow!
Steemit is on a lookout for a writer for their technical updates, and a Steemian might even get that job. From the introduction of that post:
At Steemit, we’ve been making a major push toward more transparency. We want to make sure that as many people as possible can gain a deep understanding of the various projects that we are working on as well as those being built by other Steem developers. But in order to do that, we need people who can speak both “Steem” and fluent English. Given the response to our last competition, we thought, “Why not do another one?” The prize for this competition could be a position working with us at Steemit!
The most intriguing post from yesterday, in my opinion, was the one where Steemians were asked to share any questions they might have for Ned and upvote those they want to hear answers to as well.
I treated this post seriously. So I asked a question and upvoted some others I was interested to know his answer to.
My question is:
I chose the end of 2020 as a reference date for two reasons:
- by that date we will probably have many more users (anyone wants to make a prediction?)
- it's not too soon to be under the immediate effect of SMTs launch, but not too late to be hard to think to the potential evolutions, and what they mean for a regular user, an investor and a developer.
I encourage you to take a look at the serious questions which have been asked, and upvote those that seem interesting to you. Ask your own question if it hasn't been asked before.
Hey, often Steemit has been accused of not keeping lines of communication open for everyone. This is as all-inclusive as it gets, at least on the asking side.
I know Ned will only answer some of the questions, but those questions have been asked, and if they are good ones, they might stick in our minds (including Ned's, hopefully), until we can find an acceptable answer and a solution or strategy, depending on the case, to the benefit of Steem.
It's engaging not just incredible!
I would have expected more questions for him. He will answer at the beginning of Steemfest to some of them, at least that's what I understood.
