RE: What's Wrong With The World?

in #assistedlast year

We seem to see this subject very differently. That is not to mean that one of us is right and one of us wrong, In fact we may both be right; as much of the subject matter seems, to me at least, subjective.

Imagine we were on the African Serengeti and witnessed a lion taking down a zebra. Should the lion be sentient they may thank their creator for the great abundance found in their life. The zebra, on the other hand, may curse their creator for the unfairness of having such dangers prowling their existence. Those may be two subjective observations of a system, that works in such harmony, that an objective observer may call it perfection.

Thank You for Your response. Now, the interesting aspect in this has to be, that I perceive the "natural world/Mother Nature" as perfect, indeed. Especially the prey/predator relationship has been thoroughly investigated with stunning results. Among "animals" there is obviously, or at least visibly an absence of "ego". Even though I have witnessed enough Cats and also Dogs to display "jealousy". The study about a prey/predator encounter though revealed, that the prey's (a Zebra) brain emitted a large amount of endorphines - making the Zebra "happy" and eliminating pain.
What I had written found its reflection in an article on "Manova" (https://www.manova.news/artikel/gesundheitsrisiko-armut) that is worth translating. Canada is considering offering assisted death to "poor" people. Poverty is now becoming enough of a reason to be able to qualify for assisted death. It is my own situation that has made it clear, that those who run our shows have little or no interest to improve our lives - that the number of people that commit suicide would go down. The article states that the opposite is true. It can be observed, that what us now famously termed "useless eaters" are driven into assisted death. It is enough to be unable to make a living - to qualify for assisted death. As the author writes, instead of improving the life conditions of those who can't make a living anymore - they will be told to end their useless lives.
My experiences in receiving help have been abysmal and attest to the unwillingness of the "machine" to help anybody - even when their life threatening situation can not be attributed to the person seeking help. The most recent example would be the population of "East Palestine", where toxic chemicals were burned - that become even more toxic when burned. Besides telling people to stay indoors, no help was extended initially, based on interviews of the affected population.
So, yes, what I wrote was related to the "unnatural" ways that have hijacked governments/bureaucracies the world over. It is this unnatural world of which I am certain everything to be wrong with it. The exploitative world, the world of the bullies, the might makes right world. Nature is indeed perfect, but man has decided to discard of it, to fight it, to become wholly artificial.

It appalls me, as a Canadian, the slippery slop that medial assisted suicide is following in my country. The subject was covered in a post from a couple of years ago, when deep in the covid calamity. The mini-documentary, included in the post, shows how a similar slippery slope was followed by Germany in the third decade of the last century.

My feeling is that we are now witnessing a more subtle form of fascism in the US Empire and its satellite states. Fascism is said to be the merging of corporations and the state. With profit being the main driver of corporations it seems no surprise that those finding it hard to make it on their own would be consider useless eaters. If there is any reason to struggle on, in my opinion, it is to fight against this ideology.

I am with You all the way - if I am able to survive this nightmare.
