After a relatively calm couple of days (I did say relatively) it's all change today and the change is into air energy, the Sylph. The energy of the mind, communication and the new.
The mean (how she is calculated) Black Moon Lilith has just moved into Aquarius joining the True Lilith who has been in that sign since the end of July and Venus will move into one of the signs she rules, Libra, in a few hours. Additionally the Moon is in Gemini.
Aquarius, Libra and gemini are all air signs.
Black Moon Lilith, Venus and the Moon are all divine feminine energies.
The difference between true and mean Lilith is that the true Lilith has a wildly erratic orbit and the mean calculation averages the orbit. I found this explanation for you:
Both Liliths try to approximate the Moon's position from Earth, which is difficult because no orbit is perfectly smooth, and the Moon's is actually quite wobbly because of the pull from the Sun.
The True Lilith captures the moon's position at a very specific time and hypothesizes it's elliptical orbit from this starting point.
The Mean Lilith is an average of the various different positions of the moon in a given space of time.
I put more store into the Mean Lilith, because it takes into account the oscillating nature of the Moon's orbit, so it seems more accurate.
I generally use the mean Lilith but am also a fan of the 'Lilith corridor' and see her as influencing the whole space between the mean and true calculations.
This means that Lilith is now spanning 0˚ to 17˚ Aquarius and true Lilith is retrograde so the two are moving back together and will be 7˚ apart on the Eclipse on the 11th and the corridor will span the South Node meaning that Lilith is saying NO MORE.
Lilith will be spanning the South Node in Aquarius right through the Eclipse on the 11th. More on that later but today mean Lilith meets retrograde and out of bounds Mars at 0˚ Aquarius and on August 14th true Lilith meets that same Mars at 29˚ Capricorn. Lilith is our too muchness and the feminine that has been vilified and rejected by the patriarchy. Right now she is raging and bringing change and chasing the male principle, Mars, in his 'out of the box' state right back into the sign of the patriarchy.
This is not about feminism or men and women. This is about how we treat each other as human BEings.
Funnily enough, the thing that popped up in my Facebook feed and I am listening to as I write is this. Not brand new but I always think what comes into my sphere is significant. This video is men discussing the #MeToo movement and how they can be man enough to stand up for women. It's an hour long but it's worth a listen because I feel that this subject is going to be back in our awareness BIG TIME.
And Venus moving into Libra. Most of what you read will be about how 'nice' this is because Venus and Libra are about love right?
Well, yes.
But Libra is also the sign of war, justice and meditation and Venus immediately begins to oppose retrograde Chiron in Aries, trines the mean Lilith/Mars conjunction in Aquarius, squares retrograde Saturn in Capricorn and also make an inconjunct aspect to Aquarius' ruler, Uranus, in Taurus who is stationed retrograde.
This is about change and breaking the rules of gender definitions and how we treat each other.
The divine feminine is breaking the societal shit that has ruled us forever.
The Sun in Leo is squaring off to Jupiter in Scorpio at the same time that Venus moves into Libra. The Gemini Moon will aspect the two at that time. All at the 14˚ mark. When Jupiter moved into Scorpio the #MeToo movement re-emerged quite dramatically with the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
All this is leading into the Eclipse at 18˚ Leo.
