New spacesuit will rescue astronauts who become lost in space
Patient filed for suit that features a ‘take me home’ button.

In February 1984, shuttle astronaut Bruce McCandless became the first astronaut to float in space untethered, thanks to a jetpack-like device called the Manned Manuevering Unit, or MMU.NASA
Being "lost in space" is a nightmare scenario for astronauts, but they soon could be sleeping easier.

Engineers have filed a patent for a spacesuit self-return system to ensure spacewalking astronauts are safe, even if none of their crewmates can rescue them.

This system is, essentially, a "take me home" button.

This is interesting.... But I don't understand why people spend millions of dollars for looking about a planet away 600 light years ... Can't travel him.... While we are destroying our planet we live in
Spending money in keeping our planet.. Better than spending money in search of an inaccessible planet.
