49 years from today on July 20, 1969 first steps on moon were taken by man. This first landing had a lot of controversy on whether it actually happened. The controversy still goes on, but today is definitely a proud day for mankind for the great achievement.
Do you know, Neil Armstrong, the first man on moon actually submitted his NASA application a week late than the submission date of June 1, 1962. It was slipped into the pile of files by a former colleuge. (Now I am going to give this example to my teachers on every late assignment submissions)
Buzz Aldrin, the second man on moon, once punched a man who continously asked him to put his hand on the bible and say that he walked on the moon, a video of the same can be found on YouTube.
From there the wheel of technology began to move faster
