Earth is so far the only planet we can live as inside of our natural surrounding. It doesn't require us to drag a bottle of the oxygen and it probably will not kill us as long we stay in our safe zone. That means you can't walk into a lava flow and expect to survive.
If we were to inhabit other planets or satellites of those planets inside our Solar system we should be prepare for some major sacrifice. In the present moment we are not capable for a prolong life on other planets and also not capable of long distance travels with minimal consequences for human health.
But, let's say all that is solved and percentage of a mistake is minimal, so many of us can load our belongings and find our happiness somewhere else. The question is and remains, during our search to safely inhabit other planets and possibly make them survivable, are we allowed by any means to destroy the only planet that keeps us alive?
Great analysis. I do think that in the future, we will need to move to another planet just because of the way we have treated this planet. Companies and people alike damage the world in our own little way. Moving to another planet means a new start for us humans, maybe we will learn to adapt and make more environmentally-friendly ways of extracting resources that the next planet we move on to wouldn't be damaged as severely as we have on planet Earth.
