I have just listed this gorgeous circa 1930's brass Pyrene fire extinguisher. Smoking hot, hey! Okay that was awful, and is the reason why I am an online seller and not a comedian!
This fire extinguisher came with it's original wall mount which increases the value. I received an immediate bid of R650 ($49) on it. I have seen them sell for for R950 ($72), but since I only paid R150 ($11) for it I won't be greedy. I always prefer quick sales!
Vintage coke bottles, and even cans, with the original contents are always very collectible. This is not very old, as you can see by the black printing on the glass. But I decided to try it and listed it for a starting bid of R25 ($1,90).
A vintage bakelite (plastic's predecessor) Siemens Brothers & Co wall telephone, unfortunately missing a speaker. Old phones sell very well.
As you can see by the numerous photos, there is not one part of this South Africa themed lunch tin I don't love!

@rogerblu
Probably....yuck!
That extinguisher is super cool. Hey you started it :)
Do you deal with many Bakelite items? I love the old radios from the 30s.
You will never know when I expire....one day I just won't be here and you know who will be to blame.
I get a fair amount of bakelite and have had a couple of old radios, the ones with the tubes!

And yes, I love those old radios. There is quite a market for them here too.
Great
