Hey, great post about Pokemon Go! Some of your information isn't accurate though.

Just so you know, the in game item known as Incense only affects the player who uses it. However, there are similar items called Lures that work the same way but for everyone in the area. Also, Lures differ in that they can only be used at specific locations called Pokestops, which are already located at high traffic areas such as churches, parks, or storefronts.

Businesses that have a Pokestop nearby can capitalize on their own foot traffic by using Lures, which are available in the app's online marketplace. Available with real money, 24 hours' worth of Lures will cost something like $1.19 an hour - a real bargain when you're marketing your business!

thanks @beowulfoflegend ! i have updated the article ! let me know if there's more to add :D

No problem, I was happy to help!

Are you saying that businesses are paying to attract Pokemons? Can they also pay to keep them out?

YES! attract Pokemons = attract players. businesses are buying the Pokemon Go virtual item called Lure Module to attract Pokemons, and players always go to where Pokemons spawn and even call their friends to join. Keeping them out.. I don't know...
