The electromobile Porsche Mission E will receive three all-wheel drive versions with a capacity of 400, 535 and 670 hp, as well as more affordable versions with rear-wheel drive
German automaker Porsche presented a prototype of its first electric supercar Mission E in the fall of 2015, but the mass production of the model based on this concept will start only in late 2019. Nevertheless, the development of the model has already been completed and the company's management regularly shares new details about this electric vehicle.
This time, journalists from Automobile Magazine finally became aware of the technical details of the novelty. According to them, the serial version of the Porsche Mission E will be offered in three versions. The entry-level model will receive electric motors with a total output of just 300 kW (402 hp), an average model will be able to produce 400 kW (536 hp) and finally the older version will receive the highest power of 500 kW (670 hp) .
All three versions will be all-wheel drive, while the base model will receive the previously promised price tag of $ 85 thousand. It is also noted that if the Porsche Mission E sales are successful, then an even more affordable car configuration with a single rear axle drive and less power.
It is interesting that in all three versions, the same front electric motor with a power of 160 kW (215 hp) will be used, capable of giving a torque of 300 Nm (221 lb-ft). But as a rear electric motor, two different modules can be used - 240 kW (322 hp) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) or a more powerful option with a power of 320 kW (429 hp) and The torque is 550 Nm (406 lb-ft).
The most powerful modification of the Porsche Mission E can accelerate to a speed of 96 km / h (60 mph) in 3.5 seconds, with the maximum speed limited to 250 km / h. The power reserve from the full charge of the batteries will be about 480 km (300 miles), while 80% of the charge can be accumulated in only 20 minutes of charging.
Recall that after the start of mass production in late 2019, the company plans to sell about 20,000 copies of the Porsche Mission E per year.
