Often I have heard clients say that they did not know their body hurt at that particular area till I brought attention to it. Or they forgot about that scar that had a interesting story attached to it.
Do you take the time to find quiet moments to hear what your body is telling you? Is it even important for you to do so?
With my work with hospice, most have shared how they did not know how they became ill. They did not know where it came from. That it had to have come from one of their relatives. Overall they each described how they were unaware of what their body was telling them till it got to a crisis moment and then they felt like the rug had been pulled out from under them.
So this is why I ask...what do you treasure in those quiet moments? What can you discover in those?
