Ayahuasca Ceremony at Indian Canyon California

in #ayahuasca7 years ago

Ive been wanting to do Ayahuasca for a long time. This past weekend at Indian Canyon I joined a relatively large group of people at a ceremony in California. I will briefly try my best to put into words what I experienced. After having some time to reflect I can say it was the most enlightening and divine experience of my life.
Ayahuasca is a brew from a vine and other ingredients originating from the Amazon Rainforest that activates dimethyltryptamine (DMT) in the pineal gland in the brain. The brew induces altered states of consciousness usually lasting between 4 to 8 hours after ingestion. Everyone's experience is a little different and changes with each ceremony.
For me I needed to work through some dark issues that have been effecting my state of mind for a long time. I had deeply profound revelations about myself, those closest to me and my purpose. It has given me a tremendous amount of ambition and a desire to move away from those things that don't matter. The amount of love shared by everyone at the ceremony was contagious. I learned so much from others at the ceremony. My intentions moving forward have been renewed and reborn. I'm excited for what the future holds and how I can use my greatest strengths to contribute.
I feel as though I have shed my old skin and opened my heart and mind. I'm experiencing a much more positive outlook and I feel this plant medicine will continue to teach me for the rest of my life
