Takeoff Roll And Rotation
continue the takeoff if speed is greater than V1
The rate of rotation should be no faster than for a normal takeoff.

  • Early or rapid rotation may cause tail strike.
    With an engine inoperative, a smooth continuous rotation is also initiated at VR, however the target pitch attitude is 12 degrees to 13 degrees, or approximately 2~3 degrees below the normal all engine pitch attitude.
  • Do not chase the FD pitch bar.

Initial Climb
Apply rudder and/or rudder trim to level the control wheel.
Make turns only to avoid obstacles.

  • At V2, the maximum angle of bank is 15도
    Noise abatement is no longer a consideration.
