With a newborn to 5 months so far it has been really easy for me as a stay at home mom. Here are some helpful tips and tricks:
- Need to do some cleaning put the bay to sleep some where they will be cozy and comfortable then go do what you need to do, baby not tired try formula/breast milk or put them in a place where they can play.
- Need to take a long shower after a hard day with baby leave a travel size bouncer or sitter for them to be in with some toys and take a bath with them in their maybe bring them in the tub with you to splash around because they do like bath with moms or dads.
- Formula feeding, living in a two story house, its midnight and too exhausted to go downstairs to make a bottle, make at least 3-4 bottle depending on the baby, filled with water and keep the formula near the bottle and there you have it a quick bottle made for baby.
- Does it get a little tiring to be inside all day, then take a day with family or just baby to do an activity where baby will be looking around.
- Its hard being a teen mom but having tricks up your hand is easy, get in contact with WIC to help with formula and some groceries. Still in high school do online at Primavera Online High School, can't do online then call daycare to see if they have options where they could provide you with help about payment options.
There are many tips and tricks for babies but some thing are a lot more simpler then others. I myself am a teen mom and it sure isn't easy, but once you start understanding how to do thing and how there are so many option for help out their you can definitely be able to accomplish handling a baby and doing other things as well.
