Preamble
About a year ago me and 3 friends decided to make a survival training in the mountains of switzerland. We tried to take as little as possible with us and to live by what the nature is giving us and for that we needed a place without civilization so we could get one with mother earth. So we packed out backpacks and started our journey into the unknown lands of switzerland. Well, at least for us it was unknown.
The Beginning
We started the journey in our hometown and drove to switzerland mostly by train. The first 3 days we were just hiking up and down different mountains and hills searching for a place where we could build up our basement. It was very hard to find such a place. For those days we just made campfires on the best places we found, pulled out our sleeping bags and slept around the fire. We where kind of frustrated that we did not found a place to stay longer but it still was a lot of fun and we where really happy and optimistic.
The Place We Where Looking For
The place where we finally build our base was not very easy to reach, it took us many hours, a lot of sweat and a lot of energy to hike up there with our backpacks. But we managed to so and found a beatyfull lake surrounded by mountains. As we arrived there, we knew "That was our valley!"
Well, it still took us one day to find the perfect place there but just to be in that area was pure happyness.
We did no just eat wild starberry but also stinging neetles cooked in water, that was very nutritious. We also tried to catch fishes with a rod but that did not went so well but we managed to catch a few fishes using a small net. There was on they when it rained and it did not stop raining we fought for hours and hours trying to keep our fire buring but we managed that too and the day after the rain we upgraded our campfire with a rainroof (you can see it the pictures above).
The End
Seemingly everything has an and and so our trip had. On our last day we packed our stuff and tidied up our place to go back home. We where sad but also happy because it ws very exhausting. We made a lot of new expiriences and did strengthen our bonds. It was very nice and we are already planning our next trip.
