If a collision is ever to occur, it would be prudent to cross all your "T"s and dot all of your "i"s. You'd want to make sure you made the least driving mistakes to ward off any future emotional or financial turmoil. Signaling prudently makes you look like you're the one paying constant attention on the road. Don't be caught being the one who potentially triggers a horrible chain of events.
