Baeckea linifolia

Swamp Baeckea

Family: Myrtaceae

Baeckea linifolia is a slender graceful shrub to 3m high. It is commonly found in sheltered positions along watercourses on sandstone, particularly near waterfalls.

The narrow opposite leaves of Baeckea linifolia are soft and rounded, 5-20 mm long, widely spaced and angled upward towards the tips of the often drooping stems.

The tiny flowers are white, to 5mm across, stalkless and each is a single flower in a leaf axil.
