We are super glad to have settled, got a job and a permanent place to call home before the pandemic.
For now it'll be staying at home, baking and baking. Oops did we say that twice?

Wow I read about the pandemic related stuff on some (German) biking forums but really didn't think about people like you. How did you manage that? Just quickly renting a place where you were at that time? That's very adventurous. I wish you the best, and that you'll be able to continue your journey as soon as possible. I'll probably have to cancel my upcoming bike tour (in July, so it's not coming immediately at the least, so there's some hope)
Greetings
We never thought about what to do in situations like this as well. Basically the messages I have seen from the cycling community "WarmShower" has been great. Some people have offered their home/backyard/barn to accommodate stranded cyclists in some of the European countries that are in current lock-down.
Our trip to the UK has finished - but the blog hasn't caught up yet. Been busy settling down in London, but hopefully get back into full swing and involved with TravelFeed
Very glad to hear you found somewhere to stay though :))
