What's the greatest thing about Steemit? Definitely engagement. Bands supporting other bands, musicians supporting other musicians, @dsound supporting up-and-coming talent. Simply put, the community is here to help each other out. Unfotunately not everyone feels the same way, as @darrenclaxton's old account (@mrbloom) was hacked a few days ago. The awesome community over at @helpie helped him back up. That's just awesome!

I really like the Steemit community spirit and therefore have launched a Bands about Bands contest.
Benefits of participating
- Your post will be added to www.fortheloveofbands.com and ALL submissions will be added there to support both you and the band / artist you’re writing about;
- We’ll all be promoting Steemit on multiple platforms, as it will be posted on our website, shared on all of our socials, resteemed at @ftlob Steemit profile and hopefully shared on bands’ socials and Steemit profiles;
- As BandsAboutBands will be a Steemit-only feature from now on, it will direct more people to Steemit;
- You will give something back to the community with promoting other artists;
- Both you and the artist you’re writing about, will be added to our new ‘Bands about Bands’ Spotify and Soundcloud playlist.

- Write a minimum of 100 words about a Steemian band/artist song, album, EP or music video
