We are surrounded by zombies. They have no idea what's coming, and it is coming soon. The last step in an empire's death is looting. Well, the looting is almost over, and collapse is next. It's either that or global war, so I'm of course hoping for a collapse.
The music is fading. Do you have a seat? A lot of people do not. They are going to die. That's not a crazy statement to make either. When the next depression occurs, millions of people will die. It will be the "Greater Depression," and in the last "Great Depression" most people lived in rural areas.
Now the opposite is true, and most people live in urban areas. Very few people grow their own food either. That's a disaster waiting to happen. I tell my family and friends to prepare for the day when their fiat currency buys nothing. That day is coming.
Will you be hungry? Cold? Safe? For everyone else's sake, I hope they prepare for the worst while continuing to hope for the best. Hard times are coming no matter what, so you have nothing to lose by being prepared for them, right?
Just be sensible about what you spend to prepare, and spread your wealth around into many different baskets/hedges to better protect it. Preparedness relates to residential security too, and I'm very interested in it as a residential security expert.

I am only just waking up to these truths, in fact it was learning about cryptocurrency that brought me to the same conclusions. I think every new generation seems to be more aware and won't just accept what they are told to be true. The next 50 years are going to be crazy!

Just a pity that not enough know about fiat currency. Money Masters documentary is also very good at explaining banking and who's in charge of the fed and the history leading up to it's creation and beyond. Best 3.5 hours I ever spent. Thanks for sharing this, upvoted and resteemed.
It's amazing how few really understand how the Fed operates. A lot just don't care I guess but it really is a crime. To create money out of nothing, lend it to the government and then collect interest on it is insane. If more people understood this I think there would be a lot of outrage.

Many many moons ago some guy created the worlds first pound, he then considered what he had done, and decided to make that only pound in existence utterly priceless. He achieved this with the simplest of contracts, thats right he loaned it out on the understanding that 1 is borrowed but 2 must be repaid, no working to pay off part of the debt, no trading goods to repay the debt, 1 is borrowed but 2 must be repaid, problem being only 1 exists ;)

What really shook me awake to the truth of 'money' is this series - 'The Hidden Secrets of Money', by Mike Maloney. Highly recommend it to anyone!
Excellent educational series. I've seen them all at least once. Episode 4 I probably watched at least three times.
You'll learn more about money in this series than 4 years in an over priced school
School is there to keep you from knowing this stuff ;) - Mike knows his stuff and explains it in nice easy layman terms.
