The Spanish Football Federation, RFEF, confirmed the number of match ban for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star was sentenced to a match ban in five local matches.
The punishment is the result of Ronaldo's treatment of the referee in a game against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday (13/8/2017) or Monday morning at Western Camp Nou. In the first leg match, Ronaldo got two yellow cards that led to a red card.
