In some cases the barcode UPC number required to be entered manually. At checkout counter, Cashier used barcode scanner to reveal the price of the item. It's quicker and little fun i guess.
Since 2004, A popular magazine predict that over 90 percent of fortune company's use barcode as regular transaction .
Why barcode used?
The technology give us the opportunity, to purchase regular needs without hesitate. You have a record of the stock levels of every item, how many you have sold and information about the price. If you want to increase or reduce the price of an item, you don't need get panic. Because it's computer based process. You just put the right labels to the right product.
