A universal basic income might not be the solution to all of our problems, but it sure would help a lot in many ways.
From the basic right to live a dignified life without fear of poverty, to the possibility to be able to pursue things like art, social engagement instead of working to make ends meet. The positive effects of UBI, especially in arts can not be underestimated.
Last year we had the chance to be the first nation on earth to implement UBI, sadly the swiss electorate seemed not quite ready for it.
Good thing is that now it has been already on the table and with time passing a second attempt could be successful.
