We had a feeling Kawhi was headed to LA, little did we know he would choose the Clippers and NOT the Lakers.
The Finals MVP is headed home!
Not only did the clippers manage to land Kawhi on a $142 Million 4-year deal. It also seems that they have finagled Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder will receive several draft picks, Danilo Gallinari and second-year player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Apparently Westbrook and George weren’t getting along so great. I’m sure the Thunder fans are not totally surprised to hear that. However the city of Toronto is most likely devastated.
The Clippers play the Raptors for the first time on December 31st, but that is in LA. I can’t wait to see how the Raptor fans treat Kawhi whenever he plays his first game back there on February 3rd, 2020. Hopefully he still has the respect he has earned up North.
Now the question is, who is the King of LA?
LeBron or Kawhi?
Do you think Kawhi is capable of winning another championship with his new squad?

Everything is possible in this life friend, is a great forward and player, he deserves respect.
Both of them are very good, I admire their way of playing but if I had to choose one it would be LeBron, I know that many will not agree with my thinking, but that is what I think.
I agree, wise wisdom. Endless possibilities.
I also think LeBron is still king. In a few years that may change.
Are you guys as shocked as I am about Kawhi Leonard’s choice? I can’t believe he also got Paul George to join him.

My nba team Los Angeles
Which Los Angeles team? There is 2. Clippers or Lakers?
Sorry My Friends
I wanted him to go to Lakers.
If you read Kahwi really well, Lakers is not the right fit for him.
Toronto is not home.
Now the NBA is well balanced of many big teams.
Good job Kahwi
Seeing Kawhi and LeBron together would have been amazing. However yes I agree, not the right fight. Paul George will be a great sidekick. He’s used to being the #2 option in OKC. Where as LeBron and AD both are leaders of their teams. Will be interesting to see which of the two pairs will be a more dynamic duo.
I woke today and will admit Kawhi choosing the Clippers surprised me. After reading everyone’s comments, maybe the Lakers wouldn’t have been the best fit. I’m glad Golden State won’t be dominating the West now, and wow If I can stay up late for the West Coast games, Lakers Clippers will be such an awesome matchup to watch
You had mentioned the Clippers before on my Lakers post. You had a feeling it was possible.
Maybe it’ll be easier for you to just watch when the Clippers visit the east. Hell, there are even some western conference teams that aren’t 3 hours behind.
This chart should make it easy to know which home teams won’t cause you to have to stay up extra late 😴
Shocked but also opens up the nba if he had gone to lakers would have created a super simply unbeatable. He might regret clippers as they are along way off but P George could make a massive difference

I think Kawhi enjoys taking something that is broken and turning it into a championship trophy. Lakers already have a King James. I think King Kawhi sounds a bit better. I wonder what LA thinks about this. Probably a split decision at this point.
No King James all the way lol got a feeling gonna be a real good season ahead. My money is on Lakers as the odds just got better. They just need one more player although not much left on the shelves now the top guns are all pretty much sold

True. No d eying James is a hell of a beast. When he’s on, nobody is getting in the way.
Lakers could always stack up on 3-4 star players. James does well with that, especially with AD to hold down the paint.
