Woooo boy! Two hours away from the madness that is free agency and there have already been some CRAZY moves. It seems as if the Wizards aren't taking ANY chances and have already offered Wall an extension (he is still under his current deal for two more seasons) to the tune of 4 years and $170 MILLION!! Wall played great this year in my opinion and a Wizards and Cavs series would have been MUCH MORE INTERESTING but I digress. Wall has not signed anything and according to sources will sit down with his team and consider all angles. Comment below your thoughts.

Thank you for the news. Even john wall is still waiting and seeing, it is no brainer for him. He will definitely sign. But as the team top player, he will discuss with the team about the team building and what players they are going to bring in to support him and etc.. John wall played very well last year and deserved this super max contract.

Yes, he played very well and definitely deserves the contract and to know the future of the franchise. The money getting thrown around due to the new TV deals is INSANE.

Good point. Because you dont expect you can sign anyone for 10m per year when it was alot before the tv deals kick in. Crabbe and tyler johnson are a good example of that. But because the super star has super max deal which make the budgeting is very hard. So you need a big time to attract all the vets with min deal to form a team, like LBJ.

That's some executive big boy bills!! $$$ He deserves it tho, probably the fastest player with the ball in his hands, even over Westbrook. And he's just a freak athlete with the potential to bring a title to D.C. Smart move by the Wiz

Agreed he's LIGHTNING fast and always in control. He's without a doubt a max/franchise player.

To be honest, smart move from the Wizards. Cause if they waited another two years to offer him a max contract, it would actually be more expensive in the long run.

But yeah, totally agree that a Cavs-Wiz series would have been more fun. Who knows, maybe it'll happen this year (if Hayward doesn't go to the Celtics) .

I actually like that move A LOT. Celts need to pair Thomas with a knock down shooter for those drive and kicks and he would be perfect.

Smart move by the Wizards

Wouldn't mind bringing in a healthy Blake Griffin (if that even exists) to help wall and beal. Or possible Ibaka. Just missing 1.5 pieces to be competitive with the cavs.

NVM on Blake Griffin - just saw the absurd deal he was offered.

We're getting into ridiculous territory with sports contracts. Basketball is catching up to MLB and soccer.
Wall is a franchise player, no doubt. But these things are the reason we see so many young players leaving college early. Get closer to that pay day
