Nikos Pappas secured victory at the last for Panathinaikos while Valencia won big in last season’s EuroCup final rematch, bringing the fourth week of EuroLeague action to a close.
A clutch three-pointer from Nikos Pappas with 0.9 seconds remaining gave Panathinaikos a 70-68 win over champions Fenerbahce at a rocking OAKA.
Pappas ended with 24 points.
Valencia has no trouble as they got a measure of revenge for losing to Unicaja Malaga in last season’s EuroCup finals by hammering them 91-53.
Errick Green had 19 points in victory for Valencia.
CSKA Moscow eased past winless Anadolu Efes 98-80 in Istanbul as Will Clyburn starred.
Clyburn led the Muscovites with 20 points.
Brose Bamberg also kept Baskonia without a victory as the German side nipped home 78-72 at home.
New signing Dorell Wright led Bamberg with 13.
