Three days from now, we will celebrate your 8th anniversary of leaving this earth. This picture is very precious because you are at my back. You cannot be fully seen in the picture for always, you are in the background, both literally and figuratively. Your support in all aspects enabled me to finish all my academic degrees.
When I was reflecting on my college course, teaching was not a choice. Now, I’m in my 23rd year as a teacher, and this picture was taken 20 years ago, I can fully say that your mark as a teacher is truly life-giving and nourishing. Through the crossroads of my academic journey, we have seen its remarkable role in polishing us.
We know that you and Tatay are in a much better place by now. Continue to guide us.
