I live and work 10 minutes away from the beach here in san diego. I never go anymore...so sad. I think it has something to do with my kids bringing sand back every time we go, and they put it in my cars and bed.

You just have to hose them down after you go! I'm surprised you aren't a surfer too! Goes right along with flying! A great rush!
no doubt. That is a whole different story. I almost died. It was a big day, and I was new. I should have stayed in the white wash. The sets were close together and every time i came up for air, i would get hammered. Seriously thought I was going to die. Haven't gone surfing since.
I know the feeling. I have almost died a couple times in the ocean. It was pretty brutal and now I know better to not take mother nature for granted.
Here is me getting swallowed by a wave in Hawaii. This started out as fun and then a huge set of 3 came and almost drown everyone who was playing in the waves. After that everyone got out of the water.
