I hear you. Well i had a random idea. Im a portuguesse person here in South Africa, and we have a great traditional meal that suits the South African Braai perfectly. Its called Espetada, im sure youve heard of that before? basically, you cut cubes of rump, skewer it onto real bay leaf branches, coat in coarse salt and bayleaves. Then turn it over a fire until medium rare. then you clear the coarse salt of the rump cubes with the back of a knife. It is the most amazing meat youll ever have with the salt and bayleaf infused flavors. Plus the use of bayleaf branches gives it that primitive, unique and mind blowingly delicious flavors.... trust me.

You're right!!! It IS amazing, and easy enough to do too... yet I've never considered it for a video recipe.
Thanks for the suggestion... definitely adding it to the shooting schedule... Thanks for the idea!
P.S. Any chance you're in the Pretoria area? Will invite you to the shoot, and you can judge me on my Espetada skills :-)
