Notre Dame du Haut
is a Roman Catholic chapel in Ronchamp, France.
Built in 1954, it is one of the finest examples of the architecture of Franco Swiss architect Le Cor busier & one of the most important examples of 20 century religious architecture. It attracts over 80,000 visitors each year.
The structure is built mostly of concrete and stone, which was a remnant of the original chapel built on the hilltop site destroyed during World War 2.
