Oh, I do love Bermuda. So fast and easy to get to and warm in the winter too. Even though it is really off the coast of North/South Carolina. As in, way off the coast!
It was hard to leave, but, yes, I am home and I am sure I left little fingernail marks where I was hanging on. Oh, yes! It is totally a word. I can see it! So it must be real!
Well, I have just arrived and I heard that OGP was gone too. Only he went where it rained all day long. Oh, how could he do that to me? He came to Virginia and brought his grey dome! Nooooo! So now. I hope he took it home with him, which I am pretty sure he did as it is sun-shiny beautiful out today.
I missed my words from DD... Thanks for stopping by! I raise my glass to you and your words!

I can only imagine the joy of being in Bermuda. I hope someday to check it out. And yes, OGP has been missing for awhile. I hope he found what he was looking for down yonder. Last I heard, it was a hard row to plow. That was awhile ago. But I'm sure he took the nasty weather back to Michigander with him. Sounds like it. It is HOT here-- in the last few days. I don't feel like doing anything. Though 92 probably doesn't sound hot to a person who just returned from the tropics. But I'm a weenie, so there ( :
(UPDATE: The temperature is now 99, YIKES. Weenies unite...)
Thanks for the nice tip, and glad you have returned, so I can regale you with new wonky wordisms of the
wise(ahem') SOMETHING or other.Hehe! You should check it out! I think you would love it AND it doesn't get hot there. Disclaimer: maybe in August... but, it is only 21 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide,so there is an influx of sea breeze all day long.
Oh, 92 is not a weenie, it only got to be 85 there- perfection I tell you!!! And the water is bathwater. Well, except for that one Portuguese Man-o-War. Yikes. Wrapped right around a girls arm. Of course, she was trying to catch it.
Seriously.
Oh, yes!!! I await those wonderful wordisms from that chap that writes the wildest stuff.
Glad you still enjoy my rambles. They're fun to do. That last one was a book's-worth.
I had no idea Bermuda was that small. But as you say, breezes from everywhere. When our family has congregated in Florida in July, it is SO hot, and I always stay on the beach. Everyone else heads inland to mess about and shop, but on the beach, we get some breezes. Just walk for miles and miles and miles and look for petrified sharks teeth, camel bones and other oddities of the sand.
I did get stung by a PMoW once, and it hurt. A LOT. But I wasn't trying to catch it, I just ran into a tentacle in the water. They can sting when dead on the beach, and 20 feet away from the float. They only came ashore once, after a big storm. I was glad that was the only time. Nasty little bloaty, floaty painmeisters.
Hope your day is a good one, and not hot. We're 'down' 84 or so today, so not bad.
