As countries have still not opened up boards due to this ongoing pandemic it has made it difficult for us not only to travel abroad but even domestically and been limited to any real exciting stories around my neighborhood , i thought sharing our tour to the Kimberley Rangers we did last year.
I was astound in how huge a area the Kimberley Rangers in Western Australia takes up , i now know when the Aboriginal people would go walkabouts it would take them days before they got back home again. What amazed me was the landscape huge amazing red cliff mountains with waterfalls flowing down them into beautiful clean cool waterholes great for a swim and a cool down. A true paradise for many wild species of birds and lizards and the rain forest were full of astonishing wild plants never seen before so colorful and unusual. Many caves to explore where the Aboriginal made these there homes many years back the caves had all types of wordings and painting on the walls probably all meant to warn the bad spirits of or something that they had achieved in there lives living there.
What we learned about the Kimberley Rangers was very interesting to know that our first true Australia's were born and breed there and lived quite a outstanding free life just like the cave men many years ago never depending on anyone just lived of the land something we couldn't imagine ourselves doing these days damn we can't even handle been on lockdown.
I was very surprised to hear and see that our own country Australia is such a huge continent and the Kimberley Rangers accounts for a third of our continent and we have such a abundance of beauty and history we just take it for granted and always seem to travel abroad and forget what beautiful landscape and seascape we have right here in our own backyard.
I just had wished that , i was more of a professional photographer with the right gear this region is certainly a photographers dream no doubt , i hope to return here some day with a better camera and with more photography experience up my sleeve.
I am not sure what sort of bird this is but it surly looks like a big White Eagle to me this was probably the best photo of my trip caught him sweeping down catching a fish and then gone just like that.
Cruising with the Dolphins was cool 😊
Cruising with the Crocodiles wasn't so cool as we knew this one wanted a bit of us !!
This one had caught his lunch so he was content !!
Hope you enjoyed my little tour around the Kimberley region now it was back to our outback station lodge with the friendly locals enjoy a cold beer and admire the out standing sunsets they get out here certainly a great spot for retirement with a 4WD and enjoy some of Australia's greatest road trips.

I do apologize been new on the blockchain i was not aware of that thanks for pointing that out to me it will not happen again i will edit the post now.
The post now has been re-edited thank you for your understanding @hivewatchers
'Without giving credit' is key here! You can use pictures or words that you find online as long as you credit your source. It is a lesson we all had to learn when we started here.
I was quite surprised how the system picks that up i used a couple of sentences to describe the vastness size of the area but since re-edited that and understand what not to do now. Thanks @melinda010100 for making that more clear to me 😊
@hivewatchers has done a fantastic job of cleaning up plagerism from the blockchain. I remember what it was like without them!
I can understand you point it wouldn't be fun if people were doing that and unfair to the community so i get what @hivewatchers are here for and good to have them here 👍

Beautiful place, lovely pictures.
Thank you @quotes-haven it was really a magical place to see 👍
That looks and sounds like an incredible place. If I could, I'd be packing my bags tomorrow to visit there! Your bird photos are wonderful.
Oh, and by the way, I'm glad to see you are an ESteem user, too!
Makes me feel like you are part of the family! 😍
It really is one incredible place on earth a bit like your grand canyons over there but more wildlife and green you would love it lots of birds for you to see there.
Esteem does seem to be popular and seems easy to use and happy to be part of the family thank you 😊
The Esteem dev team is very active and more updates are on the way... And I've heard there will even be a name change. I can't wait to hear what it will be!
So far i am enjoying using the desktop app it seems easy enough to use will be looking forward to the new changes if i have any problems you won't mind me asking you , you seem to know a lot about Esteem.
I'm always happy to help, although I am much more familiar with the phone app. Keyboards are hard for me and I do much better swyping on my phone. Have you joined the Esteem Discord?
https://discord.gg/bDT7ahh
You can learn a lot there.
Thanks @melinda010100 really you work of a smart phone wow i would end up with square eyes doing that all day.
Esteem Discord ok then thanks will look into that. Thanks again and you have a great day or evening for you must be nearly bed time for you now 😊
Oh my goodness extremely breathtaking @kohsamui99! :-)
Much of the worlds cave art and other things appears to have
kept track of time and space. The third photo of towering
rock face is so colorful! The water running down the rocks
what it must of been like to live there long ago. The sixth photo
is so outstanding wow, like a petrified palace from another age.
The mountains look like sleeping giants, truly beautiful place!
Awesome wildlife photos! Your bird photographs would be
fantastic for the #featheredfriends community by @melinda010100!
Those are sure some big lizards! lol
Wonderful posting, very much enjoyed!!
Thank you @shasta wish i could have stayed longer at this amazing place but honestly it would take you years to see all the beautiful wonders of this natures creations but do intend getting back there in the near future so much more i would like to see.
So happy you enjoyed this post and thank you for the advise about @featheredfriends will look more into this tag 👍
Australia is a big country and it is beautiful, although is would be a bit too dry for me, but I could imagine to spend a few months there when I retire, exploring such great places like the Kimberley Rangers area which your photos show us beautifully.
I love these colors and that rock formation is stunning.
That's one good thing about this virus: because we can only stay at home or better said in our own country we take notice how beautiful it can be where we live. There's no need to always go to another country to see the beauty of the nature, when it's right at your doorstep 🙂
I have learned this too in the past months, but to be honest, I do miss a few places in Slovenia ... just because it is also at my doorsteps, but there's a border between ;)
Great post and beautiful photos, kohsamui99 😀👍
BTW it is a White-bellied Sea Eagle - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White-bellied_sea_eagle
Cheers and !BEER
!tip
It really is a big country when it takes you 5 hours to fly from one end of Australia to the other end like for example flying from Sydney across to Western Australia takes 5 hours that's a lot of ground your covering.
They do say you should explore your own country before you go abroad but who really does , i am happy i did and i want to see more.
Thanks for naming that lovely bird for me i did think it was some sort of beautiful Eagle.
Take care and stay safe @johannpiber 👍
You are very welcome @kohsamui99 🙂
It's beautiful everywhere, but mostly you don't see the beauty where you live, because you are so used of it. I live at one of the most beautiful lakes in our country, but I haven't been swimming in it for many years. I love to ride on my bike around it and take photos though ;)
Have a great day and take care too 🙂
Cheers and !BEER
This is true we take it for granted but we our missing out and we don't even have to travel abroad.
You have a great day take care and go swimming in that lake 😊
That's the point - we all are taking everything for granted, but this crisis shows us the opposite. Hopefully we all won't forget what we all should have learned during this lockdown or shutdown or whatever it is called in different countries ;)
To be honest, if possible I prefer to swim in swimming pools and avoid lakes or the sea, because in a pool I can see the ground and if there's a big fish who is hungry and wants to eat me 😉
Cheers and !BEER
This crisis definitely has bought people to realize that life is short and that we should care for each other more and enjoy every moment of the daily life as i always have done and will keep doing it does make it a happier world to live in 😊
Haha i agree with you there a clear blue water sea were you can see under you i don't mind but murky lakes i will give them a miss.
Wise words and very true and my only concern is that most people forget very fast. But we should hope for the best, that after the crisis the people and this world will be better than before.
Oh, our lakes are clear and you can drink the water of almost all, but they are deep and a few meters below the water surface it gets dark down there ... wanted to write down under ;) lol ... and I can't see anymore what's swimming there 😉🐟
Cheers and !BEER
