Having a birthday on a weekend when all my family can be here to help me celebrate is both beautiful and sublime!
My granddaughter has a birthday this week, too, and we always get to celebrate together.
She is 12 years old...I'm a bit older!!

My day was very happy and @loresb must have had a wonderful day too. Tell me what that is that you made in the rectangular shaped pan, it looks wonderful! And Jello? And a chocolate brownie type cake? Everything looks very festive! I'm wishing I had a sister!
Hahaha! So prepare a wet chocolate cake that is my specialty. The rectangular mold is a cold cake of chocolate and cookies is known by the name of "Marquesa" and yes, it is a rainbow jelly of many colors and flavors. We enjoy just like you!

Let them eat cake! Oh my but this is beautiful , photograph 4 had me licking the laptop screen to try and get at that delicious strawberry!
Do you have loads of lighting rigs set up in your house or is it just naturally well lit? If I try and photograph anything at hope it looks murky and grainy, you some how make this look far too easy!
That mosaic is stunning, it obviously took a long time to piece together and the end result is something unique - really impressive.

My kitchen is ridiculously well lit, because I hate working in the shadows when I'm cooking. Just the ceiling lamps were on. I don't own much for camera gear.
This is one of the first mosaics that my daughter-in-law has made. She is taking a class, but she is quite artistic. She has plans to make a bigger free form piece for an empty spot in my kitchen that she feels she needs to fill.
Wish I could share a piece of cake with you. It was yummy.
