we did get the products tested by a government entity that gauges skin products and it came back as a product that does not harm the skin, but it is a wash off mask pack to cleanser, so i would wash it off! by the way, we did use a coconut-based cleansing ingredient so that the product is more natural than some of the other products on the store shelves.
