Those girls and womens who have unwanted hair on their body usually spend a lot of time in life constantly trying to get rid of it and searching the best method how to do it. Let's consider different methods of hair removal in order to find the best solution.
Shaving
It's the easiest but disputable decision. Some women use razors for facial shaving because it is quick and safe method to eliminate facial hair and can help with the absorption and penetration of the skincare products women use. Unfortunately, shaving doesn't eliminate unwanted hair completely. After such procedure hair follicles remain and after a couple of days it should be repeated. Again, again ... and again.
Electric epilator
An electric epilator does not shave the hair and pulls them together with the follicles The main advantage of this method of hair removal - the duration of the effect. The term of the next hair removal is transferred for a 1-2 weeks. It might be best solution if there is not one important detal - such procedure is rather PAINFULL. In addition, after epilation the hairs may grow in the body.
Lazer epilation
Laser hair removal - is one of the fastest and most effective ways to remove unnecessary hair once and for all. In just a few treatments, you can achieve a smooth and soft skin on almost any part of the face and body. This method allows you to remove only the hairs that had grown to 3-5 mm and are visible on the surface. That's why if you choose this way , be ready you'll have to do it several times. This method doesn't suit for those women who have dark body and dark color of hair and is rather expensive compared to other solutions.
Photoepilation
Photoepilation systems have less precision but present great versatility thanks to the large amount of different types of light they can emit. In many cases, treatment with IPL can be more effective than with laser, especially if hair colour or skin colour are not the ideal for photoepilation lasers.
Their main advantage is the versatility and because of this we can treat a wider range of skin and hair types. Their main disadvantage is they are extremely technique-dependent, have somewhat less precision as opposed to lasers, and can irritate the skin more intensely.
This method is also great and you can do it at home. But it also have several disadvantages:
- photoepilators are rather expensive;
- it won't help get rid of the gray or downy hair;
- may leave slight traces
- often there are complications in the form of burns
Sugaring hair removal
This technique causes almost NO PAIN. The practice of sugaring hair removal has been in exercise since 1900 BC, though during those times, honey was used instead of sugar. This ancient middle-eastern technique makes use of natural gel or paste created from food-derived components such as sugar, lemon juice, and water to uproot the hair follicle from the base. Sugar is easy to clean up, cheap, world-wide available and generates permanent result. But, belive me, it is difficult
to get or prepare proper consistency product, works good only if you let
unwanted hair some growth (lengths should be not less than 1/16 inch )
Wax Epilation
This method is my favorite. It temporarily removes hair at the root for an average of three weeks of smooth skin, which can range from two to six weeks depending on your hair type and thickness. Despite the fact that waxing requires at least a quarter inch hair lenght in order to be effective and can be moderately painful, it is still less painfull than
electric epilator, gives better effect than shaving and is not such expensive as laser- or photoepilation.
If you choose this method, I advise you to buy on Aliexpress.com (or somewhere else) such wax heater set:
and the problem with constant unwanted hair removal will be solved. Proved by my wife :)
Conclusion
As you see, there is no one ideal universal method to get rid of unwanted hair, each technique has its own pros and cons. But I hope this article will be helpful for you with choosing YOUR best solution.
Very hairy post...
let the post be hairy, not body :)
Laser would be my first choice however is quite pricey. I currently shave just because it's a bit more time consuming to wax myself. Upvoted :)
Well, if lazer suits you, it is ok :) Shaving is fast but you have to shave often so entire time can be quite long comparing to wax.
Upvoted resteemed and followed!
Thank you!
I prefer the electric epilator Karmin =)
