My name is Jeremy Lewis and from the great commonwealth of Kentucky. I am 41 years old and have been married to my beautiful wife Melissa for 19 years.
We have 2 children, 1 dog, 10 chickens, and one rabbit.
I have been an amateur beekeeper for over 10 years
I love gaming I started with Everquest in 1999 on the Bertox server and played it for 15 years on and off. Played WOW and then moved to XBOX and covert ops and other games including Elder Scrolls online.
I am a computer geek from way back. I remember we had a 286 as our first computer in our house I had some friend that had like a commodore 64 but my first one was a 286. We upgraded to a 9600 bps modem and was dialing into a few bbs in our town. Playing Legends of the red dragon or just playing around in the chat rooms. Then when dialup internet came along we upgraded to a 33600 bps and thought that was uber speed we could download games and all from the internet and put them on our floppy disks. Just may take all night for a 2 meg game but man seemed like it was worth it. We finally made the great upgrade to a 56k modem and thought man this is a fast as it is going to get. Well I moved out of the city and it was as fast as I could get until 2006 when ATT put in fiber and gave us the opportunity to get on uverse at 12 megs down. I had played Everquest on the lowest graphics I could with out going to old models and was laggy as heck on it and WOW but then I could experience the games in full on graphics mode.
I am a copier repair tech for Wilson Office Solutions. Our main lines are Konica Minolta, Brother, and HP. We will service any copier/printer though. I have worked in IT in the dialup days as a tech to help people get online with dialup. I have worked in a multitude of professions including grocery clerk/bag boy, butcher in training, security guard, tech manager at Chuck E. Cheese (I have seen the robots without clothes on and they look terminator like) and a coffee equipment tech.
I am halfway through my Masters in Theology from Midwestern Seminary. I have a Bachelors of Art in Leadership Development with 4 years in Koine Greek from a University that went bankrupt about 10 years after I graduated.
I have lived in 3 cities in my life Paducah,KY, Princeton, KY, and Homestead, FL. I have visited 20 states in the US and plan on hitting the other 30 in my life. I have been outside of the US only once when I visited Antigua in 2006 on a mission trip. I learned how to play cricket. I also learned about tea time and how to drink a proper cup of tea in the morning. My favorite meal was jerked monk fish.
I am also an avid amateur genealogist I have a few of my family lines as early as the 1600's and one into the 1300's. I have at least 6 of 6x Great Grandfather's who participated in the Revolutionary war. My son and I are members of the Sons of the American Revolution.
The most interesting fact I have found is that Daniel Boone was my 6x Great Uncle. What was really funny thing when I asked my Granny how long our family had been in Kentucky she would say we came over with Daniel Boone I always thought she was joking but she could have known all along.
I am also an amateur astronomer I have an 8 in dobsonian telescope I view the night sky I love looking at the planets and the closer galaxies. The Orion Nebula is one of my favorites as I think it was the first nebula I found when I first started observing. This is a picture I found online of the nebula through an 8in telescope.
I am an avid cook I love to experiment when cooking. I don't normally use a recipe I might start with one but never follow it exactly as written. My specialty is chicken enchiladas I got the recipe from an old Mexican cookbook in our Spanish class when I was in the Tenth grade. I have improved it over the years and am asked often to make it. I have even made it into an enchilada bake.
Well that is all about me that I can think of for now. Till next time.
Jeremy Lewis
