Fantastic reviews as always, and here I am just on my Plum Porter.
Are IPA's supposed to be bitter? I had an amazing IPA earlier in my local - Bristol Beer Factory produced, defo not bitter, just loverly!
That latter just look like juice! I almost missed the 9/10 booms - you need to get another * in there to bold it up!
Great names this week and cheers, have another

Oh man, thank you! I missed a bloody asterix! I fixed it!
They arent usually, the stronger ones sometimes are which always gets my goat cos its my favourite type of pale and I like em smooth!
I really like a plum porter, had one a couple of weeks ago. Magic stuff. Enjoy!!! :OD
Oh plum porter is my absolute fave, I'm having another now, for Little Nell, God rest her soul.
Oh no, who is little Nell, did I miss something?
I just finished The Old Curiosity Shop.
I do love a bit of Dickens at winter, it has to be winter... characters ordering boiled beef and Porter (or at least Ale) is something of a stock feature of most of Dickens' novels.
Although I may just have given away something about the ending of that one.
Read Great Expectations if you haven't already, everyone knows the story but the book is just awesome, modern authors just don't have that power of language.
I have a bit of a thing for the 19th century you know, especially the 1840s - 1860s. Cholera and gender politics aside.
Lol. Yes, you might have given the ending away for that one. Sorry, I totally meant to reply to this earlier but was caught up in feeling a bit rough.
I might just read it when I have time. I haven't read many of the classics despite being quite the reader!
!ENGAGE 25 Cheers!
