Hello there, Stemians! I tried this beer while visiting the island of Aegina, which is in Saronic Gulf, only an hour or so from Piraeus, the major port of Greece. It took my mind ever since and I've already ordered some, after coming back to Athens...

Following the waiter’s suggestion in a local tavern, we chose to order this beer, instead of our usual one. After the very first sip, I left the glass on the table (well, I actually had another sip first!) and I did some quick studying over the label. It is a 5% lager, produced and bottled by EZA (greek beer company) in Kiparissi, a town of Fthiotida, in central Greece.

It’s blond, clear, with a mild, medium-lasting foam and a short, sweet aftertaste, which very much reminded me of Paulaner Wiessbier, my top favorite beer!

I highly recommend it to all Greek and foreign beer-lovers, who want to try something new and different in their summer beer-hunt!

Oh, and some sweet pistachio (Aegina's sweetest delicacy) as a bonus, right after lunch…

Take care, everyone, and keep steeming!

I will definitely try it. I will be visiting in a month from now.. :)

I hope you enjoy both; Saronic beer and Greece!
