It was a boys' night in as our girls were away to see the Strictly Come Dancing tour. I do watch that show, but wasn't bothered about going. Dinner was a pizza that was freshly made in the supermarket and the beer was another from my selection box. Marston's Pedigree is one I've enjoyed many times, but this had a different label.
Not an especially strong beer, but a very drinkable one and I'm not out to get drunk on a pint. A good head as you can see. Some more details on the label.
I've been wanting to watch more movies lately as there are plenty I haven't seen and a few I wanted to see again. Last night I went with Iron Man 2 that I think I only saw once before. As usual it plays on Stark's personal issues. The villains are Mickey Rourke as a Russian physicist/gangster (don't see many of those) out for revenge and Sam Rockwell as an incompetent weapons dealer. There's some great action scenes of course. The one at the Monaco Grand Prix is very good, even if it's a bit preposterous that a car owner would take over from his usual driver for the race. I noticed a bit in the trailer that's not in the movie. Anyway, it looked and sounded good on our big TV and surround system.
My son and I split the pizza and had garlic bread too. He watched the movie for a while before going off to his room. He watches loads of stuff and loves the Marvel movies, but he's seen this one recently.
The beer went down very well. After the movie I watched a great BBC documentary about the role of bass in music fronted by Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads. I needed some time away from Steem anyway as my voting power is low again.

Pizza and beer that’s my kind of night. I’d prefer a more drinkable beer over something that loaded with alcohol. Sometimes it’s just too much to be hammer off a single beer.

Is that corn on the pizza? I have never seen that before. Very interesting. All of the Iron Man movies have been pretty good. I feel like RDJ does a really good job of playing Tony Stark.
Yes, it's corn. Very common here. RDJ does play it very well. There's just so many Marvel movies that I have to rewatch some to figure out what happened previously.
