Hello Steemit,

I assume you already read the SteemFest2 announcement by @roelandp. SteemFest2 will take place in Lisbon in Portugal.

When I heard this news, I remembered the bottle of beer in my closet, which I had never looked at properly. And what a surprise, it is also a beer from Portugal.

So I opened this bottle of Sagres and say cheers to @roelandp and his SteemFest crew.

I had no other choice :-) Was the only bottle from Portugal I found at home.

Sagres is a good beer. One of my favorites!

The first one I've tried was Especial. Really floral hmmmmm

I have had that beer before! Has been years. Real good! And cheap to buy when I had access to it. Cheers!

Sagres. or Super Bock. Both great bears from a great country. They taste the best in Portugal! Cheers @beers!

Probably the same as with Heineken. Also tastes best in Amsterdam :-)

Portugal is somewhat divided between Sagres and Super Bock, some wars going on everyday!
If you like black beer, you should try Super Bock Stout!

Yes, the beer was ok. But I assume that I took it too early from the fridge and it was to warm. On their webpage the brewery recommends 3 degree Celsius at optimal temperature.

This beer tastes better if really cold what is amazing here on hot summer days!! Anyway, you'll have the chance to taste it for yourself in November! ;)

Yes, it's the same with Heineken. Nobody buys it in Germany but it was delicious during SteemFest1 in Amsterdam :-)

Hum, I don't know how Heineken tastes in Amsterdam, but here they are great too! It's one of my favorites btw, I like them really cold ;) In Lisbon it will be possible to ask for this brand in almost every places, but you will always find Sagres or Super Bock, the national brands!!
