This is sign of how much beer has changed in the last twenty years Coopers or Coopers green as we call it in Australia (as opposed to the heavier Coopers red) was considered to be 'out there' and really unique back in the day, now, as you say it's very ho hum, same beer, still well made, but the (craft) market has moved on, but still pretty darn good in the backyard on a sunny day.

For sure.
I enjoyed it, it really grew on me, it just seemed a bit unexciting compared to all the new craft ales coming out - and even more established ones like Little Creatures
But for sure I would be happy to drink it anytime
