Alazar - Omnipollo
Beer Review
Alazar is an 11% alcohol/volume Imperial Double Blondie Stout made by Omnipollo and released by the Twelve Percent Beer Project at Thimble Islands Brewery in Branford, Connecticut. Omnipollo is an award winning beer maker that was founded in 2011 by Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin. They create the beer recipes and then travel to different breweries across the globe to craft the delicious ales. The Alazar was a stout that packed an absolute flavor blast, brewed with white chocolate, vanilla, coconut and peanut butter.

The Can
The Alazar can is gold with red and blue letters featuring stars and stripes. I think the gold color is perfect for a beer that claims to be a white chocolate, vanilla, coconut and peanut butter Blondie stout. It seemed to match the flavors well. This beer was released in pint cans that sold for $22 per 4-pack.
The Beer
The Alazar was loaded with different flavors. Trying to figure out the tastes after the first sip was a bit overwhelming. As you can see in the photo below, this beer had no head at all when I poured it into a glass. It was dark, but a tad lighter than most stouts. The taste was rich with hints of chocolate and peanut butter. At 11% alcohol/volume, the Alazar was a bit boozier than I anticipated. I managed to get my hands on 2 cans of this and I was satisfied with both. It's a beer that grows on you as you work your way down the glass.
Happy #BeerSaturday!

I'm not a stout guy and I thought this was good. After the first couple of sips, it tastes like liquid chocolate/peanut butter.
I think I rated it in the 4-4.25 range and thats from a guy who drinks strictly IPA.
Good read, sir!
Omnipollo makes amazing stuff.. You should try the NOA Pecan Mud Cake (which is usually a shelfie).. I think it's even better than this one. Time to come over to the dark side ;)
brother I love this too, and this has chocolate, vanilla and peanut butter together, no doubt three unique ingredients and flavors that are very good together, I really love every beer you've published, and the cans even more As I told you in the previous one, they are all for collecting. And with that 11% of alcohol you have, you know a lot about alcohol?
I recycle the cans. There are way too many to collect! 11% is a lot for a beer. It is almost as much as wine.
By recycling I hope you mean, get beer, drink content, get rid of can, get more beer asap! lol
Hahaha you know it!
ah you collect them, it seems really incredible, if I imagine that you still have to miss many more. Oh ok, I mean, with two that you take, I think it's enough, hahaha, for the amount of alcohol
