It's Beer Saturday Once Again.
Happy New Year Merry Monkeys!
This weekend we are visiting family. It's the annual Christmas party. All of the cousins are playing and having fun. There is food abound and everyone is having a good time.
I grabbed a pack of Victory "Merry Monkey" while we were picking up ingredients for tonight's meal. I always try new Christmas/Holiday themed beers when I see them and since I've never had this kind before, I figured I'd check it out.
Party Time
This is a very tasty beer. It punches with flavor. It's not bitter at all. It has a sweet fruity smell and finishes with a nice spicy sip.
It is made by the Victory brewing company and is described as:
"A festive ale with cranberries, orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg."
Pretty Delicious
We have a nice evening ahead of us filled with more food and fun. At 10% ABV I don't think I'll be staying up as late as I did last year (night).
